Community Relations

IPSF AMBASSADOR/Afterschool Classroom Enrichment (ACE) Coordinator

Our IPSF Ambassador will represent Stonegate at all IPSF meetings, report IPSF news and programs and educate our parents on the importance of IPSF.  This position will also lead us in any legislative activities to help IUSD on local, state and federal issues and report pertinent information to our Executive Board and Stonegate membership community. 

The ACE Coordinator position is a part of IPSF and will work together with the principal to coordinate the ACE program on our campus. 

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE

Chair: Open

This committee is instrumental in helping all families at Stonegate feel welcome.  They accomplish this by inviting new families to Coffee with the Principal, inviting them to the most recent PTA event, providing baked goods as requested for PTA events, etc... They also coordinate a Back-to-School Coffee and a New Family Welcome Event.

SPIRIT WEAR

Chair: Open

Help take orders for Stonegate logo items for school spirit occasions. We sell high quality t-shirts and sweatshirts with our school colors and logo.  Parents can purchase these items at the beginning of the school year to wear on spirit days.

TEACHER STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK (TSAW)

Chair: Open

Organize volunteers to provide refreshments and meals in teachers’ lounge during the week and coordinate activities with the students and room parents throughout 3 days in May.  

DAD'S CLUB

Chair: Open

The Dads’ Club is comprised of dedicated fathers and volunteers whose primary goal is to further the enrichment of our children and Stonegate Elementary through fundraisers, family-centric activities and support of PTA events.

PTA MEMBERSHIP & PLEDGE DRIVE

VP of Membership: Jessica Guttenberg

This position is part of the Executive Board. 

This position handles the PTA membership drive at the beginning of the year. We are striving for 100% membership!

Please note: Committee Chairpersons are appointed by the elected Executive Board. The Nominating Committee cannot nominate chairpersons, but would like to collect names of interested PTA members in order to help the new Board fill these positions.
