Dear Stonegate Families,

Greetings from the new Stonegate PTA Board! As we usher in the exciting 2023-24 school year, we extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families. 

For those embarking on their first year at Stonegate, we're here to introduce you to the heart of our school community – the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA organization is made up of our parents/family members and teachers. We are the central element of collaboration, connection, and support, dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every child at Stonegate Elementary.

Why should you consider becoming a Stonegate PTA member?

Community Bonding: Our PTA serves as a collective hub, uniting Stonegate parents, guardians, and teachers with a shared purpose. Your active involvement not only supports the school but also paves the way for new friendships and meaningful connections.

Empowering Education and Change: Your participation in PTA activities plays a vital role in elevating the educational resources and opportunities accessible to our students. Together, we amplify their growth and potential.

Memorable Events: We organize awesome events, workshops, and initiatives that add a touch of fun and enrichment to the school experience. The eagerly anticipated 2023-24 event calendar is on the horizon, and we're thrilled to share it with you!

For our PTA to be truly effective and representative of the Stonegate community, it is essential to have families participate! Whether you have 30 minutes or a few hours, your time and effort can truly make a difference. So please consider volunteering, donating, and becoming a member of the Stonegate PTA. The first step is visiting www.stonegatepta.com on August 23rd, where you will be able to complete your Back to School Membership Packet which includes the following:

• Join our PTA: PTA membership is optional but important. 

• Sign up for Volunteer Spots: Our school events and volunteer opportunities will be listed. You can include the capacity in which you can volunteer your time, creativity, and resources.

• Donation Opportunity: Our 2 main fundraisers - Pledge Drive (at the beginning of the school year) and Hawk Run (in the new year) - help raise money to purchase educational materials, equipment, field trips and other school activities for teachers and students. 

• PTA Waiver: This document allows your student(s) to participate in our annual Hawk Run as well as our other PTA-sponsored events.

• Purchase Spirit Wear: TBA.

• Purchase the School Year Book
