WELCOME BACK EVENT

Chair: PTA Board

An Event to Kick-off the school year.

 

Our annual Welcome Back Event is a PTA sponsored event that is intended to help bring the community together. Volunteers are needed to help plan this event and on the day of to help facilitate our activities!

 

 

 

PICTURE DAY

Fall & Spring, October & March

 

Assist photographers with orders, combing hair, escorting classes, etc.

 

 

 

RED RIBBON WEEK

Chair: Open

Fall, October

 

Assist in preparing activities for this drug awareness campaign one week in October. Activities include an assembly with the D.A.R.E. officer from the Irvine Police Department.

 

 

 

FAMILY FUN NIGHT: SNOW NIGHT

Family Snow Night is a fun community-based event funded by the PTA. Join us for a winter night complete with sledding, hot chocolate, music and food trucks. Many volunteers are required for the event. If you are interested in volunteering please email the event chairs. 

  

 

 

GIRL'S CHAT

Chair: Open

Spring, February

 

An evening for 5th grade girls with their mothers or a female relative featuring a presentation about puberty and the physical and emotional changes it will bring sponsored by the PTA. It is usually on an evening in the spring. Refreshments will be served. We will need volunteers to help with invitations, food, booking a speaker, and decorations. We will also need 4th grade moms to help serve.

 

 

 

FAMILY FUN NIGHT: BINGO NIGHT

Bingo is a fun community-based event funded by the PTA. Join us for a chance to win great prizes! Volunteers are needed for the planning and the day of the event. 

 

 

 

GUY'S NIGHT

Spring, April

 

An informative presentation for 5th grade boys and their fathers or a male relative about puberty and how they change physically and emotionally when they grow up. It is usually on an evening in the Fall. Refreshments will be served. We will need volunteers to help with invitations, food, booking a speaker, and decorations. We will also need 4th grade fathers to help serve.

 

 

 

SPRING CARNIVAL

Our annual spring carnival is a PTA sponsored event intended to help bring the community together for a fun night of games and friendship. Many committee members needed to help plan and run the carnival. Volunteers are needed to help plan this event and on the day of to facilitate our many activities!

 

 

 

LOST & FOUND

Chair: Open

Throughout the year

 

Organize and gather lost-and-found items. Communicate lost-and-found reminders to Stonegate community. Donate unclaimed lost-and-found items to local community.

 

Please note: Committee Chairpersons are appointed by the elected Executive Board. The Nominating Committee cannot nominate chairpersons, but would like to collect names of interested PTA members in order to help the new Board fill these positions.
